Okay, I’ve not been doing so good at updating this blog but one of my goals for the coming months is to change that.  Expect more from me here.

This Saturday is the official Help Portrait day.  This international event has some 7000 people at more than 600 locations in about 58 countries all coming together for the common goal of providing a nice portrait for an individual or family who may not be able to afford a professional portrait session.

It’s really quite amazing.  In Edmonton alone we have around 40 photographers helping out in 4 different locations around the city plus a number of volunteers doing everything from greeting people to hair and make up to serving food.  It should be a great day!

If you know of any families who could benefit from such an event, please let them know to visit the Paramount downtown (now the City Centre Church) between the hours of 11:00am and 6:00pm.
